What are people saying about Slant?

The best-kept secret in American publishing today is Slant Books. Slant’s list is incorrigibly eclectic in the best sense of the word. The books Greg Wolfe edits and publishes…don’t represent any school, any clique, any fashionable (or unfashionable) trend. Fiction, poetry, memoir, and more: they are incorrigibly individual even as they are rooted in tradition. What is language itself, after all, if not a living tradition, ever-changing, ever rooted in the past?
